Searchable Database Lets You Find Out if Your Doctor Receives Drug Company Money
I have had a chronic health condition
for over 12 years. In that time, I have been to
many doctor’s offices and have seen many physicians. I am very happy with my current physicians and appreciate that they understand I am seeing benefits with alternative options like my XO cold pressed chocolate supplement. All doctors are not like this, some insist that you can only take prescription medications. I always wondered about certain physicians I no longer see, especially the ones who really pushed lots of prescription medications. At one point, I was on up to 13 prescription medications at once, many prescribed by my previous rheumatolgist. It made me question if they received a benefit for writing prescriptions for certain pharmaceutical company brand medications. Of course, it could be that my doctor was simply trying to help me get better with limited success.
If you want to know how much money your doctor receives from the pharmaceutical industry, consider checking out the Dollars for Doctors publicly searchable database
and see what if anything your doctor receives from drug companies.
I know for a fact that there are prescription medications that can truly make a difference in someone’s life. I also believe that there are natural God given alternatives that can help as well. I am thankful that my fibromyalgia symptoms are helped by supplementing with XO healthy chocolate and the XO chocolate meal replacement protein shake. I believe that the increased antioxidants, what are found in most fruits and vegetables, are the reason for the improvement. How do you get your antioxidants? I get mine in chocolate. This quote by Hippocrates pretty much says it all, ” “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”.
