Week 3 of the 8 Week RIPPED & RICH Get Fit Diet Weight Loss Challenge Results

photo (2)This morning was weigh in day for the completion of 3 weeks of the RIPPED & RICH fitness & weight loss program. I was a tad disappointed that I only lost 1 pound this week. I felt like I worked so hard at it but I don’t think I focused on exercise as much as I did the previous two weeks. So what does that mean for me? That means I am stepping up my game. Overall my weight loss in the first 3 weeks is a total of 8 pounds. My goal was to lose 20 pounds during the 8 week challenge so I am well on my way to reaching my goal. My ultimate weight loss goal is to lose 75 pounds in 2014. I know I can reach that too. Let me tell you why I like the RIPPED & RICH program so much better than the Atkins plan, Weight Watchers and the NutriSystems plans I have tried. This is why. I like that this is a simple plan. Right now I make two protein shakes a day. These taste great because they are made with cold pressed chocolate sweetened with acai and blueberry. I currently mix mine with 1/2 a frozen banana, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon creamy peanut butter, 1 cup ice, 1 cup water and 2 scoops of the XO protein shake. I use my Nutri-bullet and it turns out thick and frothy. It is very filling and I like that I don’t have to worry about what I am going to eat. I normally have my shake for breakfast or lunch, but on days I want to go out for lunch I ordernowrippeddo. I have a nice lunch like I did at Olive Garden with the soup, salad and yes, gasp, a breadstick and then i go back to my shake for dinner. I like the flexibility and that not once during my diet have I ever felt hungry or deprived. I am also not running around like a crazed maniac with a bad attitude. The healthy chocolate is good for your mood so I have been rather happy. So besides having a normal healthy dinner, I am snacking on XO nuggets, drinking Xe energy drinks before my workouts and drinking lots of water. This is just not that hard. I like that it is not that hard. As far as my working out, I have my own health issues that limit me in how I can exercise. We all have issues. So you just work around them and get moving how ever you can. That is what I do every day.
