Sanibel Island and neighboring Captiva are popular vacation spots for snowbirds, retirees and families alike. A popular restaurant choice in Captiva is the Bubble Room. It is a nostalgic step back in time to the 1940’s with lots of memorabilia. Portion sizes are small, prices are high and service is not top notch yet this is still a popular tourist restaurant choice. A family such as mine found the lunch menu to be small. Three teenage boys were still hungry after eating the small sandwich and be sure to note that nothing is served with the sandwich. Expect to pay over $12 just for the sandwich. Desserts start at $6.99. Dinner menu items range from $19.99 to $34.00 per entree.

If you are looking for a hearty meal for a family, try Chee Burger Chee Burger on Periwinkle in Sanibel Island. On the main drag this restaurant offers nostalgia as well but of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Adults and children alike will love the ambiance afforded at this classy but homey restaurant. Portion sizes are large but you do have the option to order smaller sizes. Burgers, chicken sandwiches and salads are the mainstay at this restaurant along with custom milkshakes and malts. No meal would be complete without their famous onion rings or french fries.

If you are looking for a fun restaurant choice, I strongly recommend the Chee Burger, Chee Burger Restaurant. So yummy and kids meals are available.   Visit ColdPressedChocolate.com to order, call me at 941-216-5727 or email lynette @ liveforchocolate.com.
